TRAVEL SOCCER PROGRAM
(AGES 8-18)
The Travel Soccer Program offers playing experiences for boys and girls ages 8 - 18. The program is geared for players who want to make the commitment to play competitive soccer. The program focuses on age appropriate consistent training and long-term development for players who seek higher levels of soccer instruction and play.
Teams formed in June remain together for fall, winter and spring seasons. U9 - U12 teams participate in "small-sided" games, which enable players to have more active participation and touches on the ball. U13 - U19 teams participate in 11v11, which allows the older players to receive the most realistic view of the game.
Goshen travel teams participate in the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League (formerly East Hudson Youth Soccer League.
- Fall travel season: September - November (Registration begins in May)
- Spring soccer season: April - June (Registration begins in February)
Open tryouts for travel soccer are usually held in May at Craigville Park in Goshen.
